How to Care for Your Jewellery

Every piece is handcrafted from solid recycled sterling silver, built to last and meant to be worn often. Because silver naturally reacts to the world around it, it will develop a character of its own over time. A little regular care will keep it looking its best.

The Golden Rule:

Put your jewellery on last when getting dressed, and take it off first at the end of the day.

Storage: Keep your piece in its anti-tarnish jewel box when you aren’t wearing it, and store it separately from other silver items.

Polishing: Use the polishing cloth provided to give the piece a gentle, regular buff. The shiny silver surfaces and edges can be polished freely.

Oxidised Finishes: The dark patina elements are protected with a hard microcrystalline wax that deepens the color and safeguards the finish. Treat these areas with a little extra care.

Cleaning Bright Silver: If plain silver parts need a deeper clean, use a soft toothbrush with a small amount of toothpaste, brush gently, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely with a paper towel. Keep standard liquid jewellery cleaners away from any oxidised sections.

Looking After It Long-Term: If your piece ever loses its shine or the patina begins to fade significantly, get in touch with me directly and I will take care of it for you.
